For sale we have an Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Offshore Ref. 25721ST – the original “Beast” in stainless steel, presented on its matching AP steel bracelet.

This iconic reference, launched as the very first Royal Oak Offshore, embodies the bold design language that redefined modern sports watchmaking. The 25721ST features a robust 42mm stainless steel case with the Offshore’s signature muscular profile, rubber-clad pushers, and the unmistakable octagonal bezel secured by eight hexagonal screws. The combination of brushed surfaces and polished bevels gives the watch an aggressive yet refined presence on the wrist.

This example carries an F-serial number, placing it within the final production run of this reference, which began in 2005.

This example showcases a striking silver-toned “Méga Tapisserie” dial, complemented by contrasting grey chronograph subdials. Oversized Arabic numerals filled with luminous material provide excellent legibility, while the tachymeter scale around the chapter ring adds both utility and visual depth. A date aperture is positioned at 3 o’clock under a magnified cyclops integrated into the crystal. Please note, there is a small mark on the tachymeter scale near the 10 o’clock position. It is not easily noticeable during normal wear but is mentioned here for transparency.

The watch is fitted with the original AP stainless steel bracelet, offering excellent balance and comfort while reinforcing the Offshore’s distinctly rugged aesthetic.
